About the museum

The Homeland Museum is a public cultural institution operating within the Center for Culture Danilovgrad, with the primary mission of preserving, studying, and presenting the cultural and historical heritage of the Danilovgrad region. Through its collections and exhibitions, the museum presents the continuity of life in this area — from prehistory to the modern era. Today, the museum is located in the summer residence of Prince Nikola Petrović Njegoš, a representative historical building that further contributes to the authenticity and value of the museum’s presentation.
