The archaeological collection represents one of the most significant units through which the continuity of life in the Bjelopavlići region can be traced from the earliest times. Formed on the basis of archaeological research and chance finds from the territory of the municipality, the collection bears witness to the rich and multilayered cultural heritage of this area. A special place in the collection is occupied by artifacts from the prehistoric period, including stone tools, pottery fragments, and other everyday objects that speak about the first communities and their way of life. These finds indicate the early organization of society and adaptation to the natural environment. A significant part of the collection consists of exhibits from the ancient period, particularly from the time of Roman presence in this area. Among them stand out ceramic vessels, coins, jewelry, and remains of building elements, which testify to developed trade, cultural, and social connections.
