Initiative
An initiative was launched to establish a museum with the aim of systematically collecting, protecting, and processing the cultural and historical material of the Danilovgrad region.

A public cultural institution that preserves and presents the cultural and historical heritage of Bjelopavlići from prehistory to the modern era.
The Homeland Museum is a public cultural institution operating within the Center for Culture Danilovgrad, with the primary mission of preserving, studying, and presenting the cultural and historical heritage of the Danilovgrad region. Through its collections and exhibitions, the museum presents the continuity of life in this area — from prehistory to the modern era.
The Homeland Museum is a type of comprehensive museum. The museum holdings consist of items from several collections:
Objects from the prehistoric period to the Roman era. Pottery, stone tools, fragments of sarcophagi, and other finds from the Bjelopavlići region.

Weapons, flags, documents, and objects that illustrate the social and historical development of this area through the centuries.

Traditional costumes, tools, household items, and handicrafts that testify to the traditional way of life of the local population.

A rich collection of coins — from Roman coins, through medieval dinars, to perpera and more recent examples.

Paintings, portraits of important figures, and artworks connected to the Danilovgrad region.

From the idea to the present day — more than 65 years of preserving the cultural heritage of Bjelopavlići.
